There are a number of committeess within MA2. They include the Executive Board, responsible for overall management of the group and the screening committees, which include:
- Therapeutics screening: Screens business plans related to drugs, biologics and diagnostics. The committee meets once a month on average.
- Device screening: Screens business plans related to everything else including medical devices, lab equipment, services or healthcare IT. The committee meets once a month on average.
- Due diligence: A due diligence team, led by a deal lead is created for each company that enters the due diligence process after the successful investor presentation. The due diligence team works closely with the CEO to gather necessary information for making the final recommendation.
